Otis Meader, son of Nathaniel Meader (1741-1828) [0023] and Mary Hanson (d.1822), was born April 21, 1791, probably in Rochester, NH,, and died July 25, 1833 in Vermont.
He married Lydia Varney, daughter of Tobias Varney and Eunice Cartland [one source gives the surname as Otis]. As her second husband she married a Mudge. During her declining years she lived with her daughter Harriet in Lynn, Massachusetts.
The children of Otis Meader and Lydia Varney were:
i. A son, who died young.
